Btw, I've just updated my Up shop with a new program called the "LEVEL UP Scholarship Program"...yay! From now onwards, for every Up shoes sold, Rp.5.000 goes to a scholarship for a low-income child. We now have one scholarship student already, a 12-year-old girl who just started her junior high school (read here). If you know any child who also needs support and has great determination in his or her studies as well, it would be so great if you could also share the information with me so Up can help...:)

Polly Pocket

Was chatting with S, reminiscing about our times in Nottingham University...it truly was one of the best times I've ever had...:') Life was very peaceful and simple, and it was perhaps the only time in my life where I really enjoyed spending time in the library reading lots and lots of books. Studying was just such an enjoyment...:)

Roses Are Blue?

During my meeting today with Daniel Mananta and Mas Adez in preparation for the upcoming Ideafest 2011 conference, I was asked how I became a blogger and actually got heavily known for it. Ha! These type of questions are the most difficult to answer, so are questions like "what are the strategies to have many blog readers" or "how do you keep up with the fact there exist so many bloggers nowadays". I believe I am not the best, or even not at all the right person to answer as I really have no particular answer. I can tell how people are sometimes disappointed by my answer that "there really is no strategy" while they are in fact expecting some list of theories. I really blog for fun! Of course, this is certainly different than other people's perspective especially ones who actually blog professionally, and I have my utmost respect for them. Therefore, such questions are best answered by them, not me. The only thing I can tell, is that I believe in letting things run naturally. I still have the same joy in blogging as much as how I had back in 2007....:)

Brains On Fire

Been sneezing like anything today. Sigh. Really hoping to get rid of my flu by tomorrow. So what have I been up to lately? Basically running Up, going to office once a week, preparing my upcoming wedding insya Allah, and searching for a new little house for me and S...:)

I really believe that being positive gives you greater positivity in return. My life has been full of struggles, and no matter how many falls, disappointments and tears I had to go through, I am proud to have always tried my best and let Allah decide. For any of you who is feeling down at the moment, please believe that everything happens for a reason, a reason that we might not understand at this point of time, but is actually the best for our lives. Stay positive and the universe will multiply that positivity for you...:)
