it’s that time of year again. Time to unveil the list of stars you celeb-obsessed Yahoo! users were searching for in 2011.

While the Top 10 doesn’t contain too many shockers, we were surprised to see a few major players missing in action. Paris Hilton, Beyonce, Jennifer Aniston, Rihanna, and the Jonas Brothers — all A-listers who’ve made the list in years past — were nowhere to be found. Taking a few of those coveted spots … Top 10 newcomers Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, who — in addition to delivering a ton of hits this year — also delivered the drama thanks to a “Sesame Street” scandal and buzzy rumors that Taylor’s song “Dear John” was about her romance with John Mayer.

But the roster wasn’t the only thing that made us scratch our heads — the order also caught us a little off-guard. Kim Kardashian … in the runner-up position?! Whenever we post an article, blog, or fashion gallery on omg! featuring the reality star, it clicks like hot cakes, but we never guessed she’d top Gaga or JBiebs! Also a little further down the list than expected … Lindsay Lohan, who had her fair share of personal problems this year. We thought she’d make the Top 5, but perhaps people like you, our beloved Yahoo! users, are totally tired of her shenanigans. We certainly are!
